Holocaust Denial

During the past decade, though, more and more "revisionist" historians, including respected scholars such as Dr. Arthur Butz of Northwestern University, Prof. Robert Faurisson of the University of Lyon in France and best-selling British historian David Irving, have been challenging the widely-accepted extermination story.
They do not dispute the fact that large numbers of Jews were deported to concentration camps and ghettos, or that many Jews died or were killed during the Second World War. Revisionist scholars have, however, presented considerable evidence to show that there was no German program to exterminate Europe's Jews, that numerous claims of mass killings in "gas chambers" are false, and that the estimate of six million Jewish wartime dead is an irresponsible exaggeration.

It is hard to believe that there are groups that deny whether or not the holocaust exterminations occurred, especially since unlike the Armenian Genocide, a new German government, was put in place by the Allies, when in World War 1, the Turkish government contained many officials that had served during the war and didn't necessarily support the Allies after the war. Also there was no cover up attempted and information was released to the public, including many confessions made by high ranking Nazi leaders. The deniers accuse the Allies of torturing the leaders, which may be true, but even if it is, there is much more evidence, documents recovered, testimonies, and photos, which supports that the Holocaust and the extermination was real. Even if the extermination didn't occur, the Jews were held up in concentration camps with conditions so horrible, (not enough food, space, or water) that you could say that the Nazis indirectly exterminated the Jews by creating conditions were disease thrived. Either way the Nazis are at fault for the 1.5-6 million Jews that died. (1.5 is an estimate by deniers.)
